He was a master chef and formerly owned two restaurants. He was a volunteer wheelchair transporter at Northside Hospital for six years and enjoyed gardening. Larry was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He served as an ex-ray technician and surgical assistant at the 25th station medevac hospital in Taegu, Korea. Upon his return to the U. S., he served as an ex-ray technician at Walter Reed Army Hospital. He was Episcopalian; in the early 1960’s, he served on the church board of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Mount Morris, NY.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Josephus L. and Anna Allen ReQua, three brothers, Lee, Quentin, and Jack, his Beagle Lulu, his Poodles Tripper and Jonah, his cat Boots, his Cocker Spaniel Jose, and his yellow Canary Enrico Caruso.

He was a member of the American Theatre Organ Society. It was his unfulfilled dream to play the mighty Wurlitzer organ at Radio City Music Hall.
