Daniel Medina, 40, of Pinellas Park, Florida, died Saturday, June 6, 2009. He came here in 1987 from his native Chicago, IL and was a 1988 graduate of Pinellas Park High School. He was a cabinet maker and a member of Iglesia Cristiana Ebenezer (Ebenezer Christian Church) in Pinellas Park. He enjoyed Martial Arts and weight lifting.
Daniel is survived by his parents, Pastor Jose and Amada Medina of Pinellas Park; 3 brothers, Joseph A. (Elizabeth) Medina of Puerto Rico, Raul (Eneida) Medina of Rockford, IL, Alberto (Eunice) Medina of Pinellas Park; 4 sisters, Aleris (John) Fraats of Chicago, IL, Nydia Partee of Tampa, FL, Lillian Medina of Philadelphia, PA, Damaris (Magdiel) Mendoza of Pinellas Park; 11 nieces and nephews.
Visitation 12 Noon to service time at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Praise Cathedral Renewal Center 4371-76th Ave. No. Pinellas Park.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

I love that picture of Daniel. That’s how I met him, I usually saw him and I will always remember him. He had a beautiful smile that would light up any room. While I know that he is no longer in pain, still I terribly miss Daniel and his beautiful smile.

There are not enough or any words I can share with you to make you all feel any better, however, we can take a lot of solace and peace knowing he is now in eternal peace in the arms of our Lord. We all dreamed and strive to earn that special place. Daniel is there! Oh what a blessing to know him!!! he was a huge ray of sunshine. the last time I saw him, he was in Walgreens, browsing through the cards. that scene keep playing in my head since I saw the obituary..... Thank you for sharing him with me, he will remain in a special place in my heart since I have a Daniel too. May our Lord bless you and keep you and family, and may he bring you all Peace.
